Film title analysis

Being the editor i have to make creative titles, to get inspiration i am going to look at various films titles from the genre of my film which is horror so that i can try to make creative titles that are suited to my genre of film.

 I decided to analyse the titles for insidious as i think that they are very creative and link in well with the horror genre. 
in this first screenshot i have it shows the production company names in a red old fashioned font with a Smokey effect, i think that this is very effective as red is a typical colour for horror as it shows danger and smoke represents fire which also shows danger. I will consider using this colour and effect when creating my titles.

 This second print screen shows 'a James wan film' the camera tilts all the way round to show the light shade in a boys room showing him sleeping, this works well as it sets the location including creative titles within it.

This is the main title of the film, again the colour red shows danger and the old fashioned font creates a negative effect which is good for the horror genre. 

in these two shots the titles come up and fade away with smoke, showing an establishing shot of the house in the background giving the audience a sense of location and them cutting to the inside of the house showing one of the rooms. these titles are effective as the are very subtle but creative, i like the red and the smokey effect, so i will try to make my titles look along these lines baring in mind i have limited technology.
